It would be easy to give a very brief synopsis of our biblical doctrine leaving the reader with many unanswered questions. It is our desire to be as transparent as possible about what we teach, believe, and hold sacred. It is our hope that the reader will take these biblical principles as laid out here and further study God’s word until his doctrine is alive in your hearts and minds.

MAN'S FALL

We believe the Bible is the full and complete revelation of the plan of redemption and that man was created by God innocent.

  • Genesis 1:26-28

We believe that man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.

  • Genesis 3:17
  • Romans 5:12-15

We believe that man’s righteousness is unclean to God, that all men have sinned, and any man that says he has not sinned accuses God of being a liar.

  • Isaiah 64:6
  • Romans 3:23
  • I John 1:10

REPENTANCE

We believe the only condition on which God will accept a sinner is repentance from the heart for the sins which he as committed. John preached repentance, Jesus proclaimed it, and before his ascension, commanded that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name, beginning at Jerusalem.

  • Psalms 51:17
  • Matthew 9:13b
  • Luke 24:47
  • Acts 2:38

We believe that through the preaching of repentance from sin, baptism in the name of Jesus, receiving the Holy Ghost, and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved. This process is the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

  • Titus 2:11
  • Titus 3:5-11

BAPTISM

We believe that baptism by immersion should be administered in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

  • Acts 2:38

We believe that baptism should be administered only to persons who have reached the age of understanding. We further believe that baptism is for all persons not just one nationality. A person that is being baptized should be taught the purpose of baptism before being baptized.

  • Matthew 28:19

We believe that under no condition, does the bible approve of the baptism of infants. Therefore, the ordinance of baptism by burial with Christ must be observed (as commanded in the Scriptures) by all that have repented of their sins. In doing so, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they have also been raised to walk with Him in newness of life.

  • Romans 6:4
  • I Peter 3:21

EVIDENCE OF HAVING GOD'S SPIRIT

We believe the inward evidence to the believer of his/her salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit.

  • Romans 8:16

We believe the outward evidence to all men and the answer to a good conscience toward God is baptism in water, speaking in an unknown tongue as the spirit gives utterance, and a life of holiness.
